AWP Limited was set up in June 2001 by its now Managing Director, Anthony Williams and Company Manager, Mark Tempest. Anthony & Mark had been working together for some eight years and were aware that the experience they had accrued over that time could be put to much better use by forming a company in order to stage large scale productions in the field of musical theatre.

A decision was made to find a Scenic Artist and a Set Construction Manager in order that AWP could supply the complete package for professional and amateur companies alike. This, coupled with Mark's background and expertise in Lighting design and Anthony's background in Direction & Choreography, meant a broader client base could be sought.

Since its conception AWP Limited has staged a vast array of work including Evita, One Night Only and Copacabana starring Gemma Craven.

They are currently working on the UK premiere of Frank Wildhorn & Leslie Bricusse's Musical sensation 'Jekyll & Hyde'.

With a staff of eight, AWP has already exceeded all expectations and is fast becoming one of the brightest lights in the world of Musical Theatre. Not bad considering the whole concept was first discussed on a cold winter's morning in front of a roaring coal fire!
