Recent West End projects include The Glee Club by Richard Cameron (Duchess Theatre) Fanny Burney's A Busy Day starring Stephanie Beacham and Sara Crowe (Bristol Old Vic and Lyric Theatre), Harold Pinter's The Birthday Party starring Prunella Scales and Timothy West (Salisbury Playhouse, national tour and Piccadilly Theatre), Mindgame starring Simon Ward (two national tours and Vaudeville Theatre) and Saucy Jack and The Space Vixens (Nuffield Theatre Southampton, national tour and Queen's Theatre). They were Associate Producers of the first West End season of Roy Marsden's production of The Hobbit at the Queen's Theatre and are currently co-producing the musical revue Zipp!, starring Gyles Brandreth, at the Duchess Theatre.

 

Numerous projects with Steven Berkoff include the Olivier Award nominated Shakespeare's Villains (international tour and Theatre Royal Haymarket, West End), the 25th anniversary production of East (international tour and Vaudeville Theatre, West End), Messiah-Scenes From a Crucifixion (international tour; Fringe First Award), The Secret Love-Life of Ophelia (international tour) and Requiem to Ground Zero (Edinburgh Festival Fringe).

 

Recent UK touring productions include Travels with my Aunt starring Gary Wilmot, Clive Francis and Jeffrey Holland, Keith Waterhouse's Bing-Bong starring Dennis Waterman and Patrick Mower, The Demon Headmaster starring Terrence Hardiman, Five O'Clock Angel starring Nichola McAuliffe, Twelfth Night starring Terrence Hardiman, Girls' Night Out at Xmas and Girls' Night Out 2000. They were Associate Producers for ATG's tour of Yee-Haw!! starring Bonnie Langford and Paul Farrah Productions' tour of Confusions starring Gary Wilmot.

 

Other recent projects include The One Woman season (BAC), The Animals of Farthing Wood (Pleasance Theatre London), Closer Than Ever starring Helen Hobson (Jermyn Street Theatre), Mr Wonderful starring Les Dennis (Chester Gateway Theatre), Billy Liar starring Paul Nicholls (King's Head Theatre, London), Room At The Top directed by Roy Marsden (King's Head) and Roy Smiles' Stand-Up directed by Roy Marsden (Old Red Lion). At the Palace Theatre Wescliff they produced the world premiere of Noel Coward's Volcano, the UK premieres of Jon Fosse's A Summer's Day and Robin Hawdon's Perfect Wedding and The Agatha Christie Theatre Festival 2001 (featuring productions of all 23 of Christie's plays).

 

Green & Lenagan have produced numerous projects at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, including Bed Among The Lentils starring Nichola McAuliffe (Stage Award; Best Actress 2001). Seven Edinburgh Festival Fringe productions last year included Derevo - La Divina Commedia, which won the Fringe First and Total Theatre Awards and subsequently transferred to London's Riverside Studios.

 

Future projects include Arnold Wesker's new adaptation of Dava Sobel's best-selling book Longitude and Simon Robson's new play The Mozart Effect (inspired by the writings of Don Campbell).

 

Julius Green and Ian Lenagan are full members of the Society of London Theatre (SOLT), and Julius is a member of SOLT's Board of Management and of the Board of Directors of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society.
