PAUL FARRAH Paul has been producing shows for almost ten years. Productions on tour include the musicals Little Shop of Horrors, Godspell, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Three Steps to Heaven and The Secret Garden, which was nominated for an award by the Theatrical Managers Association. Plays include Alan Ayckbourn’s Confusions with Christopher Timothy and Rula Lenska, Double Edge, Simon Gray’s Hidden Laughter, I’m Marrying Ryan Giggs, The Master Forger with Roy Marsden, Loot with Michael Elphick and Letitia Dean, Keith Waterhouse’s comedy Bing-Bong with Dennis Waterman and Patrick Mower, Funny About Love with Stephanie Beacham and Sean Maguire, The Adjustment with Stefanie Powers, Dusty – the Musical, the comedy Why Me? with Tim Brooke-Taylor and Carmen Silvera, and a revival of Alan Ayckbourn’s Confusions starring Gary Wilmot and Louise Jameson, which has broken box office records around the country. In Autumn 2001 Paul toured Ron Aldridge’s new play You’re Only Young Twice starring Brian Murphy, Judy Cornwell, Victor Spinetti and Carmen Silvera. The international hit Girls' Night Out, devised by Paul himself, has completed seven successful tours, with the movie going into production in the spring of 2002. The success of this show (which preceded The Full Monty) resulted in two sequels, Girls’ Night Out in Ibiza and, especially for the festive season, Girls’ Night Out at Xmas!. In the West End Paul’s producing credits include Arthur Miller’s A View From the Bridge starring Bernard Hill and Joseph Fiennes (Strand), Girls’ Night Out (Victoria Palace), the Chichester Festival Theatre production of Loot (Vaudeville), Not About Heroes (Jermyn Street), Killer Queen (Strand), Freak Out (Prince of Wales), international entertainer Judi Connelli (Talk of London), and Steven Berkoff’s East (Vaudeville). Paul is also currently producing the national tour of the new musical Heaven Can Wait featuring the music of Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and The Big Bopper, and the national tour of Nobody’s Perfect starring Stephanie Beacham and Simon Williams. He is also co-producer of the national tour of Deathtrap starring David Soul. Future projects include the 100th Anniversary production of Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Hound of the Baskervilles for the West End later this year.
