RICHARD TEMPLE PRODUCTIONS Ltd

Richard formed Richard Temple Productions in January 1999.

The company’s first production was the British première of the Dora award-winning play High Life starring Paul Barber, Nigel Planer and David Schofield at the Bush Theatre. It was nominated for a TMA award for Best Comedy. Other productions include a national tour of Shang-A-Lang directed by Mike Bradwell, Sing-a-Long-a-Sound-of-Music, which has become a cult hit in London, New York and on tour, and national tours of Filth by Irvine Welsh, Alan Bleasdale's Having A Ball and the 70s musical Hot Stuff.

Richard also co-produced the tour of The Colour of Justice: The Steven Lawrence Enquiry. In September 2000 RTP opened Puppetry of the Penis at the Whitehall Theatre in London where its five-week run became sixteen due to demand for tickets and subsequently has now played two UK national tours.

Richard has recently toured I, an Actor, starring Nigel Planer, and is currently producing the national tour of The Return to the Forbidden Planet.
