Vanessa Ford
Productions Ltd is a company specializing in the production of plays,
operas, musical concerts for theatres indoor and out throughout the United
Kingdom and overseas.
Formed 21 years ago, the
Company has presented over 70 major productions and co-productions at over
135 theatres throughout the UK and Eire.
The company is the brainchild
of Vanessa Ford, and is remarkable for having received no direct grant aid
or subsidy of any kind during the past 20 years. Vanessa
Ford, Producer and Director, presented her first classical play in 1979
and then developed a classical touring company celebrated throughout the
United Kingdom for working without direct subsidy of any kind. In
the mid-1980's her Company pioneered the concept of family theatre and has
up to now created eleven major productions in this area, all but one of
which have been seen in London's West End, some several times.
