VANESSA FORD PRODUCTIONS

Vanessa Ford Productions Ltd is a company specializing in the production of plays, operas, musical concerts for theatres indoor and out throughout the United Kingdom and overseas.

Formed 21 years ago, the Company has presented over 70 major productions and co-productions at over 135 theatres throughout the UK and Eire.

The company is the brainchild of Vanessa Ford, and is remarkable for having received no direct grant aid or subsidy of any kind during the past 20 years.  Vanessa Ford, Producer and Director, presented her first classical play in 1979 and then developed a classical touring company celebrated throughout the United Kingdom for working without direct subsidy of any kind.  In the mid-1980's her Company pioneered the concept of family theatre and has up to now created eleven major productions in this area, all but one of which have been seen in London's West End, some several times.
