Kew Gardens Ice Rink
Sunday 25th November 2007 to Sunday 6th January 2008
Seasonal Ice Skating in the Heart of the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew this winter
The Kew Gardens Ice Rink – London’s most beautiful ice rink – opens for another season of skating fun in front of the majestic Temperate House on Sunday 25 November 2007. The ice rink is again presented by PWR Events Ltd and the Royal Botanic Gardens and will be for another six week season.
The real-ice rink will measure approximately 1000 square metres with a capacity of 250 per hourly session. Café Ice alongside the ice rink (no additional entrance charge) will be serving warming drinks and festive snacks for those wanting to take it easy and relax after their skate or whilst watching others take to the ice.
Booking for the ice-skating sessions (hourly sessions accommodating 250 people) is open by phone and internet from www.kewgardensicerink.com and in person at Kew Gardens Victoria Gate Entrance (from 25 November for both advance tickets and on the day tickets). Tickets are also available from selected ticket agents. It is expected that sessions at weekends and immediately around Christmas and New Year will sell out extremely quickly so advance booking is strongly recommended.
KEEP A DATE: A press event will be held at Kew Gardens and the Ice Rink on Monday 26 November so mark this date in your diary and keep it free – details will be available shortly.
