THE PRESS RELEASES
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 25 January 2006
cloud ten music present
RICHARD LUMSDEN & Henry Kissing Her plus guests: Mr Hudson
for the launch of the new album PULL at BUSH HALL, 310 Uxbridge Road, London W12 Date: Thursday 9th February 2006
PULL, the new album from Richard Lumsden, will be released on 23 January 2006, and will be followed on Thursday 9 February with a live performance, featuring songs from the album, at BUSH HALL, Shepherd’s Bush, London W12 with doors opening at 7.30pm.
PULL was recorded with Richard Lumsden's ex-Henry Kissing Her bandmates, as a follow up to their 1997 album, the glorious - if much undersold - A Little Of Who You Fancy. Since this last album Richard has been working with some of the top musicians & recording artists in Nashville and the UK, and has performed his one-man musical We Could Be Heroes [Time Out Critics' Choice - Best Plays in London] as well as making numerous appearances in TV shows for BBC & ITV, such as Love Soup, Hornblower, Is It Legal, Wonderful You and the recently broadcast murder mystery Croydon Poisonings. Richard is probably currently best known from the role of Nathan in Channel 4's controversial & highly-popular Sugar Rush, and begins filming the second series in February.
Cloud Ten Music (www.cloudtenmusic.co.uk) is a part of Cloud Ten Productions which has been formed to produce new and innovative scripts for theatre and television. The three directors - Matthew Ashforde, Richard Lumsden and Paul Savident - all work in different areas of the entertainment industry. Currently under development are five scripts by Richard Lumsden - Skeletons, We Could Be Heroes, A Good Place for Fishing, Fortune and Boston Deeps. For further information visit www.cloudtenproductions.co.uk.
The album is engineered by Richard Brooker, mixed by Mike Westergaard, mastered by David Cathro and produced by Richard Lumsden and Richard Brooker. The stunning design for PULL is by Kate Phayre & Jemma Phayre. PULL is released on Cloud Ten Music and can be bought online at www.cloudtenmusic.co.uk.
