Following capacity seasons around the world (and this year’s Edinburgh Festival!) David ‘Friendy’ Friend and Simon Morley, the original genital origami creators of Puppetry of the Penis will be appearing for three weeks only, from 4 October, at the Apollo Theatre in London’s West End.

Puppetry of the Penis is a mind-blowing show featuring two strapping Australian men who manipulate their genitalia into various shapes, objects and landmarks. A video camera projects every intimate detail of these incredible natural phenomena onto a large screen ensuring that little can be missed - even from the very back row!

The Ancient Australian art of Genital Origami requires its artists to have astonishing stamina, an unbelievable stretch factor and an amazing level of testicular fortitude, and leaves both men and women gasping and laughing with more than 40 heroic and hilarious crowd pleasing dick tricks.

With intense concentration and great dexterity, the Puppeteers demonstrate eye-popping “installations” such as The Eiffel Tower, The Windsurfer and even edible delights such as their signature dish, The Hamburger.

As with all phenomenons, it all started in a humble way!! David ‘Friendy’ Friend and Simon Morley premiere their Dicks Tricks at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 1998… huge success… an eight month sell-out tour of Australia… sell out seasons in Melbourne and Sydney… and then off to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2000… their performances catch the eye of producer David Johnson… the boys are immediately signed up for a five week season in London’s West End… which, after many extensions, became five months! Now, four years on, the boys are back in town!!

Puppetry of the Penis continues to prove itself a juggernaut of a show. Over the years many men have come forward to perform, but few have become Puppeteers of the Penis. Now there are numerous companies performing around the world, including new companies in Spain and France who perform in their own language! Hardly a corner of the world has not experienced the talents of the Puppeteers – and as you read this, a group of people, somewhere in the world, are experiencing the delights of Puppetry of the Penis right now!!!

Puppetry of the Penis counts Elton John, Naomi Campbell, Joan Rivers, Lulu and Posh & Becks amongst their fans. Their enthusiasm is shared by critics who just love the show.
