LEE MEAD

The Adelphi Theatre, London WC2

From 6 July 2007 – Booking now through 5 January 2008

On Saturday evening LEE MEAD, a long-time client of International Theatre & Music Limited, took charge of the Technicolor Coat that will take him to the stage of the Adelphi Theatre.  After 12 weeks of nervous tension in BBC1’s Any Dream Will Do, Lee Mead will be playing the title role in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in London’s West End from Friday 6th July 2007.

Piers Chater Robinson, Managing Director of International Theatre & Music Limited where Lee Mead has been a client for 3 years commented “We are delighted that Lee has come through the final of Any Dream Will Do with such enormous support.  I am glad that the public saw in Lee not only a technically trained singer, but also an actor of repute and an honest and decent guy.  Certainly Lee is not new to the trials and discipline needed to perform eight shows a week in the West End, but his debut casting in a title role, in this case as Joseph, clearly shows that the public understands star talent when they see and hear it”.

With previous cover and ensemble roles in Tommy, Miss Saigon, Joseph and The Phantom of the Opera, his casting by the public in the role of Joseph in this new West End production marks his West End casting debut in a title role.

International Theatre and Music Limited (internationaltheatreandmusic.com) has been representing musical theatre artistes since the mid eighties.  Although specialising primarily in the representation of musical theatre artistes with strong singing and musical skills, International Theatre and Music Limited also represents a smaller number of screen artistes, musical directors, choreographers, dancers and writers for placement in a wide variety of TV and other media projects.

To date the company's actors have appeared in many major West End and No.1 musical shows in the UK and across the world, including Wicked, Mamma Mia, Chicago, Les Miserables, Phantom of The Opera, The Lion King, Miss Saigon, Evita, Blood Brothers, Mack & Mabel, Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake, Jerry Springer The Opera, the QE2 & QM2 Cruise Liners, Grease, Seven Brides for Seven Bothers, Thoroughly Modern Millie, My Fair Lady, Tommy, Cats, Fame, Buddy, Starlight Express, Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Peter Pan, The Sound Of Music, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Annie, Fiddler on The Roof, A Chorus Line, Stepping Out, Kiss of The Spiderwoman, Summer Holiday, Copacabana, Aspects of Love, Chess, The Witches of Eastwick, and many more.
