A Guernsey Gardener in 2025

Busy day - up early and getting ready for recording Sunday Chat, though before that down the road to help a friend slide in a new fence panel... the old one being blown out and broken by the last high gusts!  We had crumpets to start the day - with peanut butter to give strength!

After recording in the morning, work work for an hour or so at my desk and lunch, I was at the plot doing the final segment of A Week at the Plot - wanted to get it sorted today as we have a washing machine being delivered tomorrow and the timing's not clear.

Otherwise, uneventful...

Weather:  It was cold overnight, and a really foggy start to the day.  Likely to be colder overnight tonight.  The day was sunny, and lovely, apart from the early hanging fog.

Breakfast:  Crumpets with peanut butter and yeast extract.
Lunch:  Carrot & Lentil Soup, Pitta, Hummus, a little coleslaw and cucumber
Supper:  Lidl sausages, leftover roast veg from Thursday, new roasted potatoes and peas.
