A frosty start, though whilst walking to Lidl early on the sun is warming, so it feels milder than it is.
It was another work work day with me at my desk solidly all morning. A headache was trying to sort out an issue with the Great Green Barn website. I won't go into it, though suffice to say it wasn't the website; if users don't keep up to date with technology things often don't work as they should. This afternoon I had a rather nice time at the plot, just pottering about doing bits and bulbs including weeding, planting out some overwintered plants, and raking level and smooth the two potato beds that I planted on Sunday, as Brush had decided to have a little play in them. Weather: Another frost, though once the sun came it stayed mild and bright until early evening, and then a rather grey sunset. Breakfast: Bran sticks, yogurt, prunes and sliced banana Lunch: Richard’s Vegetarian Shepherd’s Pie, a trial pastie and baked beans Supper: Softened lentils and a tin of Morrisons Carrot & Parsnips Soup, a roll, thinly sliced cheese and sliced beetroot.
