A Guernsey Gardener in 2025

No frost this morning - thankfully.  Will we have had the last frosts of this start to the growing year? Time will tell…

A desk morning for work work, and then a visit to the library, the chemist, and Poundstretcher where I found some plastic coated wire that will do for tying the cultivated blackberry up at the plot.

Down to the plot in the afternoon, to tie up the cultivated blackberry!  I did break one long stem in the process - well I heard a crack though it is still well grounded so I hope it will survive.

Weather:  Another frost, though once the sun came it stayed mild and bright until early evening, and then a rather grey sunset.

Breakfast:  Bran sticks, yogurt, prunes and sliced banana
Lunch:  Richard’s second trial of burgers, with homemade coleslaw
Supper:   Cottage cheese and the leftover coleslaw on crackers.

I see Richard is having kind like a mad (food) scientist phase. To everybody's benefit, long may it last!
