A Guernsey Gardener in 2025

Not quite sure where the day went… we were waiting for a washing machine to be delivered, and basically it never was!

Weather:  A sunny day - mild, though cold in the shade.  Sub 0° expected over night.

Breakfast:  Paul’s porridge (based on Richard’s recipe), mashed banana and some bran sticks
Lunch:  Carrot & Lentil Soup, wraps with Quorn ham and coleslaw - a bit too much to be honest!
Supper:  Scrambled eggs on toast

Really like those lists of meals, gives me ideas. Can't believe your washing machine is still not delivered! Do they really think people can sit at home days on end and just wait?!

PS. Every time I open this webpage I think how much I like this photo of wood anemones (in the banner).

I think many large companies now take us all for mugs... and maybe we are!

I too love the anemones, such a happy sight.
