Saturday, and as per usual, time’s needed to record Sunday Chat! There were a few false starts - as my brain was really not firing on any cylinder, let alone just one!!
I was hopeful the brightening white glow mid-morning would blaze itself through, washing away the gloom and bringing time of work and sunshine at the plot… though it wasn’t to be. An afternoon of reading, thinking and having a bath - whilst Richard bakes slices of aubergine in the oven to build a moussaka for lunch with friends tomorrow. Not sure what supper will be. Will have to decide later. Weather: Another grey blanket, with snow forecast though not arriving. A brief glimmer of sun mid-morning found it all too much and shied away. Cold. Breakfast: Porridge by Richard, with a sliced banana and some bran sticks Lunch: Spiced Squash & Lentil Soup (freezer), Pitta, Homemade Hummus, Carrot batons, sliced Cucumber and halved radish. Supper: Leftover Moussaka Veggie-Mince Sauce topped with Mashed Potato.
