A Guernsey Gardener in 2025

It's a damp start to the day, and I pop to Lidl to do some shopping first thing, then to my desk.

It was set to be a desk work work day, with a later afternoon visit to the plot… and the day rolled through as expected.

There’s leftover goulash this evening, so I don’t need to cook. Instead, I have a bath whilst listening to the latest episode of A Charles Paris Mystery on BBC Sounds. Bliss!

Weather: It is a grey start, still warm. Rain, then drizzle, then it fizzles out. Remains grey and a little cooler all day.

Breakfast: Crumpets, spread and yeast extract
Lunch: Scrambled eggs, baked beans (tinned) and Lidl rye bread
Supper: Leftover Goulash and wholemeal couscous plus some sliced cucumber
