Paul has substantial business experience over a wide range of different industry sectors including environment, social, entertainment (primarily theatre and film), advertising, media, digital, and the food sector. Work currently is mainly consultancy and writing related, as well as regular videos on the YouTube channel he has with his long-term partner.
Paul writes a monthly allotment related article for the Guernsey Press in his series A Guernsey Gardener in London. On the YouTube channel he uploads weekly under playlist A Week at the Plot with the work he has done and thoughts he's had on the plot each week - an upload is usually formed of three or four sessions at the allotment across the week. Additionally, he and his partner present a weekly show called Sunday Chat - musings on our daily life and the world around us - this is usually pre-recorded as live. Additional videos relate to their individual and collective interests and include a large number of vegetarian cookery videos, and household tips under the playlist Wily Wednesday.
Paul is currently consulting for For Earth's Sake CIC, a plastic-free and waste-free shop in Cranleigh, Surrey. The company is now expanding into other areas, including the restoration of a 17th century barn for use as an eco and sustainable venue, planting of a Heritage Fruit Orchard, and the development of the For Earth's Sake Growing Space & Therapy Garden.
Paul is also now developing his creative writing and looking to regularly publish further articles on general topics to Medium. He is currently in discussion with two media companies (one US and one in Japan) to become a regular contributor.
Paul is Chair of the Billets Hart Allotments Association in West London - a 101-year-old allotment which has actually been individual allotted growing spaces since the 1870s.
